While NER still has roots in manufacturing, the company evolved into an expert in the complex Data Center environment. The Technology Solutions Division ranges from supplying server racks all the way to complete data center design and construction. Within that broad range, we offer best-of-breed products and solutions for access, monitoring, control and device management, Power Management, and Heat and Cooling Management. Our Data Center Health Check and assessment services lead to solutions for solving current problems while establishing benchmarks for capacity planning, growth considerations, and infrastructure power and cooling capacity.
The structured and complex business approach of the Technology Solutions Division has not been overlooked by the imaging side of the business. In addition to implementing successful domestic cost reduction initiatives for commodity toner and parts, NER has grown significantly in the area of supply chain management and offers global sourcing of parts and finished goods as well as manufacturing and sourcing consulting. In 2002, NER started Image1, a wholly owned subsidiary to address the printer parts and service side of the imaging industry. Image1 has rapidly emerged as an industry leader.
One of NER's best examples of innovation, growth, and drawing on core competencies is Print4™ Managed Print Services. Print4 integrates printer-related supplies, parts, national service, hardware, software, and financing into highly manageable programs for customers and end-users. NER was one of the first companies to successfully offer managed print in the marketplace. This accomplishment is a result of drawing expertise and resources from all NER divisions to develop this highly scalable, centralized solution. Our managed print programs drive simplicity, productivity, and lower total cost of ownership.
